Long time reader, first time poster. I visited CW in Roanoke, VA today as I was in the area. We have looked a few times in the past and never saw anything worth a second look... until today. We're still searching for our first TT and thought we were set to purchase a Jayco 264BHW from Keystone RV in PA. Best price by far at about $14k out the door. Today, I walked into CW, mainly to look at the plethora of accessories, but decided to throw a hail mary and see what they had on the lot. Well, they had a really nice Coleman 274bhs (not a slide. not sure of the "s"). Floorplan is very similar and the pros/differences are listed below. CW gave me a price that is giving me a second look. My wife is learning towards the Coleman. I'm still leaning towards the Jayco, but I'm not 100% sure why.

Jayco/Keystone RV Pros:
$14,062 out the door (blue ox installed)
2 yr bumper-to-bumper warranty
Ducted A/C
15k BTU A/C
Spare tire included
skylight in bathroom
A/C duct in bathroom (I hear this is good when you're in with the door closed)

Coleman/CW Pros:
$15,200 out the door (EZ wdh installed)
LED lights at awning
More cabinets (medicine cabinet & big cabinets over couch)
Enclosed underbelly
LED lights with push buttons (more control over lighting)
drawers in night stands
60g fresh tank (vs 48)
sink in bathroom
40 minute drive (compared to 4 hrs)
13.5k BTU A/C with heat strip
Camping World locations for service
3 year Good Sam Elite membership
Tank cover

Any thoughts?

I know after reading the forums for quite a while that Jayco has a really good reputation. I'm not too sure about Colemans. I just bought a Keystone 2400bh TT last week and one tip I would give is to play the dealerships off one another to further lower the price. They were asking 25k for it at Lazydays which is about a 5 hour drive from my house and I found a dealership that was about an hour away who was asking 23k. On that dealerships website they had a "make an offer" button and I made an offer of 19k. They accepted and they sent me an email to verify, however they wouldn't accept my class C trade in. Lazydays was accepting my trade in. When I told Lazydays over the phone about the 19k offer they asked me what the other dealership was offering me for the trade in. I told them the truth and that's when he said that he would only lower it to 22k. I was kicking myself for telling the truth and so I drove my class C the five hours to Lazydays and then I told them that the other place decided to give me the same amount on my trade in. Long story short, I was able to talk them down to 19k after some tense negotiations. These big dealerships will bring it down eventually so whichever one you choose make sure you make it seem like you are more interested in the other one

I don't know much about those two trailers but don't get the EZ lift WDH. Get the Blue Ox or an Equalizer, they are much better hitches.

You really get what you pay for. We went with a 2015 keystone as our first trailer because it was cheap but also looked nice. Should have spent more and gone with quality. Now it's sold and we took a sizable loss.
I wouldn't get a Jayco after watching a video of them building one in under 7 hours. Just thrown together. They seem built similar to keystone.

I don't know anything about coleman trailers but from what you posted that's what I would get. But I would recommend spending more for better quality.

I believe one thing that you have wrong is that the Keystone only has a 1-year warranty and no direct-to-consumer support. Jayco has a 2-year warranty and will support consumers directly.

Keystone's "nationwide" service network is a network of 1 place for repairs: The place you bought it from.

Jayco, Keystone, Forest River, and more all use similar "line" construction techniques.
