we just bought a tt and havent had it out yet.dh jut replaced the water heater, the roof vent, got the fridge, stove, oven, and furnace to work. he had to replace a piece of copper pipe then we can try the water system. My question is has anyone here replaced the awning material.we are on a tight budget and were hoping to do it ourselves.what we really need are directions!! does anyone have any. they want $100 dollars to put the material on & we have to take the camper to them(2 hours). we live in the boonies, in southeast sask.any thoughts, infor would be welcomed.
thanks, glenda

Veercan,
I would take the TT to a qualified technician (dealer) and have him fix and replace the awning. It is very, very dangerous messing with awnings as they are under a lot of tension and those springs if they let loose can cause some serious damage to your body parts.
