Flame Retardant Coachman

Hi everybody, we want to buy a new coachmen freedom express, it is certified green and free of formaldehyde. I am worried about flame retardant in the upholstery. Any advice on this? If it was used will it air out? I am very sensitive to those chemicals and want to be sure before we spend 24000 $.
Thank you

I'm sensitive to chemicals also, although our upholstery is leatherette, with its own chem vapors, and basically having bought new, which was closed up for a few months, it took months before the chemical "newness" subsided.

That retardant is even on baby clothes, and has shown to be toxic. Good luck, and yes, airing it out for days did help the bloodshot eyes
