Floor water damage? Uncovered by Full timers Ins.?
Hello everyone! Happy New Year😎
Has anyone ever had thier floor replaced or rig totaled, due to water damage? Our floor started having soft spots, happened really quickly. We discovered a full length opening across the underbelly. We had trsv er led through a lot of rain. Or could have happened from a leak undetected? Don't know? Will my full timers package through progressive cover repairs or total it if they think it's too bad? We're thinking it's from that but not sure , it's a mystery! !!
Thanks for any advise. Or knowledge on this matter😆

Read your policy. It is your responsibility to know at least as much, or just slightly more, than the person that answers the phone at your insurer, IMO.

Only Progressive can answer that question.
However I've found that very few insurance policies cover what I thought they would/should.

Water line fitting failed on backside of our water heater...........woke up to 2" water in living room/kitchen and water running out under slide outs.
Insurance company covered new flooring---carpet/linoleum, new floor in slideout, motel room for 3 days during repairs minus deductible.
But we had a FULL TIMERS complete coverage policy with appropriate riders (Same policy that we had on our S&B home owners insurance)
SO..............it depends on what policy you have and the EXCLUSIONS CLAUSE

If the leak was from outside I doubt anyone will cover that, if a pipe broke inside they might.
Most insurance won't cover damage from stuff like roof leak or underbody leak.
