Forest River help

Not sure if you can see pictures but i notice this today were the outside flaps on my slide at the top left corner of of it has roughly an 1/8 gab between the flap and wall its about 8 inch section and gradually tappers back into the wall . And at the very bottom of the same side its not wanting to fold all the way out at the very bottom im haveing to manually flip it. Any suggestions ima call dealer tommorow but they are 3 hours away..

It looks like your slide needs adjusted. If you have some basic skills you can do it yourself. I think you can find the instruction on lipperts website. If it's a lippert slide?

If you can't find the manual PM me. I think I have it.

If I am correct and it is just the wipers, many have gaps. Not a good thing but par for the course.

And no need to "flip" the wipers, they are only there to sweep water and debris off when closing the slide. If you look inside the trailer the seals that count are the ones pressing against the inside walls when open, and the ones outside that press against the siding when closed. Those are the seals that keep you dry, not the wipers you are looking at there.

That's great info. I've looked at those wipers before wondering if they really sealed that well. Thanks for the post.
