Freight costs

How much were you charged for the freight charge when you bought a new TT. We are looking at a Jayco and the dealer says it will cost $3200 to deliver it to Phoenix. Seems excessive. Thats $2.00 per mile.

Would you drive to the factory and back with your tow vehicle and your time for $2/mile?

FWIW it sounds reasonable or low to me. It's one of those diminishing return deals. The bigger the truck the higher the per mile costs. You get one guy with a P/U for 3 nights out or 1 guy with a flatbed and 2 units for 3 nights out but a more expensive truck.

Google "travel trailer shipping", start talking to one or more of the companies that come up, compare prices, make decision.
