Glad to hear you found what you were looking for, I was just reading your posts about finding the right trailer and looking a floor plans and trying to keep within your weight limits. I think we have all been there. The DW and I went through it 3 years go. We went with StarCraft, 235FB, no slide but the couch was there and the dinette. It is perfect for the 2of us and we have the option of bring the grandkids too.

When we ordered our 232rbs we had them remove the dinette and add a sofa instead. Dinettes have always been a catch all for us and never used. We usually eat outside but if we do decide to eat inside we have TV tables we use. Works great for us.

We ran into the same problem when we were looking for lower weight trailers. We had to go up in weight to the 7K to get something we wanted. But as you stated the 1/2 ton is not going handle the the towing of 7K trailer. We found that there we features in the slideouts and the kitchen we just did not like in the smaller trailer. We don't like the outside kitchens at all.

We finally got a 6.8K dry trailer and really glad we did. Now we have a 1 ton we don't having the towing issues.

Good luck in your hunting.
