Dixson, sorry for the tardy reply but I just saw your post. I bought a 3500E genset from Duropower last September. I am very pleased with the unit. It also has a 6.5hp engine which runs at about 67db. Weight is 105# with the battery. The unit is as good quality as all the others I looked at,including Honda, with out the exorbitant price tag. I wanted a 3+kw so I could run the TT ac & micro or be useful at home in the event of a power outage. DW wanted a battery start but it is an easy pull start. I think you will find the Duropower 3000i to be comparable to the Honda 3000i in quality and performance. The only major difference is a 1 year warranty vs 2 for the Honda. I also like the 30amp rv plug for the TT. As always its best to shop around for the unit that suits your needs. BTW, delivery was 3 days via Fedex. Happy Trails!!

Hoverbug,

Thank You for your reply. Got upgraded to a 3600Ei, without the cost. Mine was on backorder since August. Anybody else?
