They want to cheap out on prices. We have dealt with claims to them a couple times and they want us to sell our parts at prices that Amazon or some online only retailer has them for. Sometimes, a lot times, that is literally cheaper than what we buy for.
Business have to make money, otherwise, they are not a business. So that left over cost gets passed to the customer.

Will be watching this, since we are considering it also, as our new rv warrentee is about ready to expire.

You're gonna pay a LOT more for a "post" sale warranty.

We decided on the 6 year plan, with $200 deductable, $237 year, we are still under the manufacturer warrentee and was told ( forum members ) it would be higher, once out of warrentee. We thought that was a good price for 6 years of peace of mind. We have been very happy with the service work of our local Camping World (Jacksonville FL ) with the factory problems and they assured they handle the Good Sam same. We will see ???

That's interesting...I just paid over !,000 to replace mine. That's what led me to consider the ESP.

That should mean they paid $1422 total, which isn't bad. Otherwise, by your math, they paid $17064. No.

Correct, per year, was less per year for the 3 year plan.
