Goodyear Endurance ST Info

Am working with GY to get additional technical info on their new line of ST tires. They sent me an info sheet and a Load & Inflation table. I have posted that info on my blog.
I will also post other info about any needed speed or inflation adjustments for operating speeds above 65 mph.

Agree. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should or that it's smart or even safe to do it.

Also N Speed Symbol stands for 87mph not 84

I hope to have more info later this week once Gy answers the rest of my technical questions.

If things go wrong at 87 MPH there is going to be a fairly large debris field to clean up.

True enough ! 55/60 mph is fine with me.

Well, hopefully all the parts left would fit in a dumpster.

Somehow... I hate seeing the words 'debris field" in an RV thread...

63 mph is my favorite interstate speed. I don't have to worry about changing lanes because everyone is passing me. I'll get there soon enough.

I am scheduled to get tires tomorrow. But I was set to get heartlands st225/r7515 (same size I have). But read some bad info on these "china bombs". But am concern on the 80# pressure vs the old #65.. and feed back on these Endurance tires.

You didn't provide the Load Range of your tires but if 65 is your OE inflation then I will assume LR-D. You need to confirm the max inflation rating of your wheels before changing.

RE concern about 80 psi. Tires do not "blowout" because of that pressure. They fail because the develop air leak but when people are not running TPMS the driver does not know they are driving with a "flat" till someone flags then down.
You can learn lots more on my tire blog.

So far I have 2292 miles on a new set of ST205/75R14 load range D tires. They are doing just fine. My favorite speed is 65 because almost everyone passes me. With these tires I am very comfortable running 70 if I want. Bought them in Virginia Beach VA while on vacation. $532 drive out with high pressure stems and balancing.
