Grey tank pipe contacts axle OutdoorsRV

I have a 2013 Creekside. I noticed that the grey tank pipe contacts the axle half way between the tank and the outlet. To me this looks like a poor design. And now the black tank is dripping beside where the pipe comes through the insulated bottom. With all the road vibration on the pipes this looks to me a likely cause. Has anyone seen this before ?

I have been in contact with the company. They didn't seem too worried about the pipe resting on the axle. Its interesting that the 2014's have a totally different design. The trailer is 4 months off warranty and the company is not interested in helping unless I bring the trailer to the factory.

Welcome to the forum!!

Since a trip to the factory is likely to be a problem for you, I'd sure be "talking" to your dealer. Since the axle is designed to move independently of the frame (and stuff that is attached to said frame), I would be very concerned about the grey water drain pipe.

And certainly any leak from the black water system needs immediate attention. I would catch some of the black water leak (with a disposable container ) and determine if it is really black water. It could be fresh water that found its way into the tank shroud, either from a fresh water leak or road spray (I have experienced the latter).

Just an update. The trailer is at a local rv repair facility. The tech has found liquid between the corrugated lining and the insulation. He said it is clear and doesn't look like it came from the black tank. With all the tanks filled he said he can't find a leak. He also said the grey tank pipe on the axle doesn't look good. Is there anyone out there with a 2013 Creekside 20fq that has the grey tank pipe on the axle ?
