Heat Vent Temperature

I am testing my Suburban furnace for the first time since I bought this travel trailer a year ago and rebuilt most of it. I checked the temperature out of the floor vent using a hand held gun type digital tester and it read about 115 degrees when the flame turned off and dropped to about 90 degrees when the flame turned back on. Is this the normal expected temperature? I thought about changing out the temperature sensors inside the furnace but do not know if it is necessary. it is a 1997 TT and the furnace looks like the original.
