For a 6K difference I would buy new. You are new to RV'ing and having a warranty will give you peace of mind. You can make costly mistakes if you buy a TT that has problems to begin with and nothing to fall back on. As far as depreciation is concerned people often way exaggerate what it actually is, or go off the MSRP, rather than what was actually paid. See how much the dealer will come down on price, and you may even be able to close the gap even better. And think about it you are buying a new TT for 6k more than a used 2 year old TT. If all the depreciation rumors are true then your really not getting a great deal on the used one, as it has only depreciated 3k per year rather than the inflated number most used buyers quote. We bought new for several reasons, and got what we wanted, and know we weren't buying someone else's problems which is a trend in the RV world. People will dump these things in a heartbeat if something is wrong that they don't want to live with.
