First: Bad assumption, the light on the switch for the electric heater is 12 volt not 120 volt

Power flow in most trailers (and motor homes)....

"Shore outlet" plug---cord-{Optional inlet}--(Transfer switch)--Breaker box --branch circuits.

Possible issues; Loose screws in plug, shore cord outlet and inlet (if that is you have the optional inlet) Transfer switch and main breakers,, If you have a transfer switch it too is a suspect.

Frankly, that about covers it.. bad wire is possible but very rare.

Loose screws are very common. Many Rvers hage a few screws loose.. these are the screws I'm talking about.

Home is where I park it!
