I under stand there might be a remote starter available for the Eu3000. Anyone have it or know anything about it. Would be nice to be able to start it from inside.

I will be buying s Sunnybrook 30RKFS this fall.
I caddy on the golf tour and I will be "Overnighting" most every Sunday night
My question is....Will the Honda 1000 run my Satalitte TV and my Micro Wave/Convection Oven.
I think thats all I would need for a "Overnighter"
Thanks
Tom Grogan

I can't answer your question, but was wondering who you caddy for? I'm a big golf fan! Good luck with your RV.

I had a Honda EU1000 before I bought my EU3000. Most microwaves draw 900-1200 watts. The EU1000 wouldn't run the microwave in my Jayco. A couple of other high wattage appliances should be avoided....Put your refrigerator on manual gas operation. When on electric, it draws about 350 watts. If your hot water heater is gas/electric, make sure the electric is turned off. Buy a coffee percolator for use on the gas range...electric ones draw 1000 watts. Other than the items listed above, the EU1000 will do a fine job running all your lighting, furnace, TV, satellite receiver, and DVD player.....even all at the same time.

I installed the remote start and stop on my Honda 3000IU. You will need a 10mm socket and a means of soldering the wires on the connectors. It is not a very difficult kit to install. I am an Aircraft Mechanic and may have a little more know how but I found the instructions very well written and the pictures to be very helpful. I would think any that can read at high school level would be able to complete the installation.

If you are still in need of info on the EU3000 remote start let me know and I'll explain how I installed mine.
