Same kind of problem in the cab.

As a kid I remembered reading about a woman killed by the contents of her purse in a high speed crash.

When the Apple I-Pod came out I waited. Took less than year to read where a young man survived the car impact, but not the impact of his 70-mph pocket device.

As a truck driver there can be some scary loads:

Giant 6,000-lb paper rolls in a box van.

A smoothbore tanker with 47,000-lbs of liquid slosh in a container not 2/3 full.

Etc.

Give securement a larger picture.

I carry a scooter also but find it is getting a bit heavy. Any chance I could get some info on your winch?

Got it from Harbor Freight......it's a 2500 lb rated one with a key fob, so it's totally remote......My truck has a 7 pin plug in the bed, so I bought a female end and just used the hot term and ground to power the winch.....winch is mounted to bed floor..

I really like this idea

The hooks are available at Lowe's in the area with the chains. I drilled and tapped for 1/4 x 20 screws on the equalizer bars and the sway control. On the sway control I cut one hole off of the hook.
