How many campers have you had?

I'm 30 now and am on my 3rd camper. I started at 19 with a 1992 Sunline T-1850 then a 2007 Rockwood Premier 2514g pop up, and now have a 2003 Trail Lite 7270s, I have also had several tents for whenni feel like getting back to the roots of camping.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Our approach has been pretty much the opposite of yours. We bought our first RV of any kind after I retired and it is our current 40DP.

Had an 80's model Jayco pop up, then got a Shasta bunkhouse travel trailer. Sold it and didn't camp for about 10 years. Then got a Rockwood pop up and tomorrow, we'll be trading for a Coachmen travel trailer.

Tenting as a kid and scouting - did not like it - too close to nature.

Fast forward ~35 years.
28' class A and then the current 37' class A.

Our idea of roughing it is a hotel without room service,

We had a class C so long ago, that I can't even remember what length it was. Then we spent 12 years with a 19' class B. Now, we are in a 27' 5er.

I'm still trying to sell the class B.

Three since 08. A class C, then an A without slides then the A with slides. Started out looking for a red two seater convertible during the onset of male menopause. Ended up with the MH. ???

I now have my 9th RV! Started in 1977 with a slide-in truck camper. We had 3 of them then I got a 17-1/2 ft. micro-mini on a Toyota chassis. From there got a 29 ft. Kountry Air 5th wheel and on to an Allegro class A. Next I had 2 class C motorhomes (last one I bought new and kept for 17 years). In February I bought a 35 ft. class A Sea View by National.

Started out in the mid 70's with an 8 1/2' truck camper, hand pump for water and an icebox. portapotty in the closet, but it was dry inside. Big upgrade was an 11 1/2' truck camper, with 3 way refrig, pressurized water system, hot water, toilet and seperate shower. Later came a 26' Class A, the kids likes this much better than the truck camper. Fast forward a few years, 28' class A. Traded it on a 29'fiver with 2 slides after 5 or 6 years. Two years ago, I traded for my present unit, 30' fiver with 2 huge slides, hopefully this will be my last unit. I am retired and plan on hitting the road this fall.

Started with a pop-up in 1981. Then went to a Trail Manor followed by a 34 ft trailer. Gave up camping for a few years as kids grew, then started agin with a 24 ft Coleman, traded for a 27 ft. Prowler, then a 34 ft Prowler, a 36 ft 5th wheel, a 36 ft Fleetwood gasser, a 35 ft Itasca Meridian, and now a 40 ft Itasca 'Meridian. This one is absolutely the last one!, (Wonder where I heard that before!).

We went from tent camping as a kid up to about 10 years ago. Stopped for quite a while as life got in the way and recently dove back in with a 30' travel trailer. That makes one so far
