How to clean canvas bunk tents?

Hey all, I own a 2005 Fleetwood (coleman) Newport pop-up and the canvas needs some spring cleaning! the outside is just a little dirty and have some mold and or mildew spots on the inside (a lot of little black dots). does anyone know of any good products or household cleaners that I can clean the canvas tents with? and while I'm asking (although they do not leak) a good water Repellant to apply after the cleaning? Thanks for any info!

Vinegar and water 3/4 vinegar and 1/4 water will not only clean and get rid of the mold but also any bacteria. Scotchguard spray will do fine on canvas

I would not use vinegar. An '05 Fleetwood is likely to have Sunbrella fabric. My 2008 did. Here's a link to what the manufacturer of the fabric recommends:
Care and Cleaning: How to: Sunbrella fabrics

I never used anything but dawn and a hose to clean mine. You need to rinse all the soap out or they are no longer waterproof.

Posts 3 and 4 are right on the money! For a big cleaning job, it's easier to remove the canvas from the trailer.
