I have a 1974 Shasta XL2200. This camper is in excellent shape. Everything works except the heat. The pilot light will light but not kick on. Dont have a clue what it is. Everything else works great. I have it listed for 2800.00. I put a new aqua toilet in it last year. It has been repainted inside. The outside and inside are really clean. Am i pricing this too high?

Any idea of the cost to fix the heater?? Add that to the $2800 and thats what a buyer would be thinking. or they could be thinking subtract that from the $2800.

What way would you think if you were buying.

We are thinking it may just be the wall thermostat. Not 100% on that though. And have no idea what it would cos to fix the heater. Just wanted to know if i have it priced too high. Personally i dont feel that i do. There are other campers that are in bad shape in my area and people are asking more for theirs than i am mine. And half of them dont have titles.

If I were buying, I would find out what the most it would cost me to replace the furnace & thermostat & deduct it from the $2800 as my offer.

If I were selling it I would find out what is wrong & get an estimate on the cost, or repair it if is is just the thermostat. I would take the hit to make the sale. Spend a $100 to sell it easier.

By your last post you sound confident that you have it price right.
