We ran into one of these (Dutchmen Denali 28LBBS-M5) at the Tampa RV show. We really liked it and was wondering if anyone had one they could comment on?
Thanks

Well it's obvious Jeff N Jody don't have one, and have nothing worthwhile to say. Hopefully someone who owns one will see your request.
We have owned two Dutchemen trailers. Both have served us well. The first, a 1992 Dutchmen fifth wheel trailer, which we traded for a new 2005 Dutchmen/Colorado/Grand Junction fifth wheel. We have lived in our Grand Junction for several months at a time, and have traveled throughout the Western U.S. without a major problem.

Thanks for the info, they do seem to be built well. I'm curious on how well they are insulated also. We plan on camping in some northern area during winter in the next year or so.
PS. Jeff & Jody are friends of ours, just given us a hard time.

When shopping, I found them to be a little lacking in overall fit & finish. Loose moldings, front slopes of supposedly identical trailers varied by 10?, shower-surround which resembled little more than a large section of linoleum hung on the wall, and a bathroom door in the shape of a parallelogram.
Opinions and experiences vary, of course. The above is representative of mine.

I agree with Jiffypop. Were shopping for a 5thW; saw a Dennali: had a nice floorplan but quality!?!? Bought an Artic Fox... but not sure if we'll like the rear-entry floor plan.
Check the cargo-capacity; may show the strenght and quality of the rv.

I have an '06 Dutchman Colorado 26'er and really like it. When we bought it, they had a Denali right beside it. After looking at both, it seemed the fit and form and overall quality was better with the Colorado. If I recall correctly, the price was higher as well, maybe that is why. After two seasons of use and many thousands of miles, I have not had any problems yet.
