We recently sold our TC and have been looking at purchasing a TT. I'm real intrigued with the Jayco Eagle (specifically the 288 RLS) and would appreciate any Jayco Eagle owners chiming in on how they like their Eagle. Does it seem to be well built, tows ok, etc.

Thanks in advance.

I can't complain. We've just completed our 7th camping season with our Eagle (See sig for info). Unless something unusual happens, I have no intention of trading it in for anything else. It tows quite well and I use nothing more that an equalizing hitch. I'd buy a Jayco again if I ever decide part with this one. Unfortunately, Jayco discontinued the 266 FBS model.

We had a Jayco Eagle TT about 5 years as we got back into camping. We have had two 5th wheels since, each one traded because of our wants and needs, nothing to do with problems with the rig. Our Jayco had a leak they never did get fixed, but they never refused to try. A lot has to do with the local dealer. When purchasing a rig you have to decide what layout or model suits you and then check the dealer and manufacturer.

We've had two Jayco travel trailers in the last 8 years, a 1998 and a 2002. They are solid, well built units. We've never had a problem with either one of them and they get used frequently.
