Installing a furnace

I am in the process of gutting and remolding a 1972 Avenger TT. The camper was in rough shape and needed some repairs, for $200, I thought I make it a great hunting shack. All appliances were included except for the much needed furnace. I picked up an older doutherm furnace and need some advice on how to hook it up and vent it correctly. The furnace came for a pickup camper and the vent is about 8in by 8in. I know how to hook the gas up, but not sure about venting our or in. Any advice would be appreciated.

Can't offer much assistance with the furnace installation and venting because it is a very critical safety issue.

What I will strongly suggest is that you get a professional to do this ...Maybe in exchange for a couple of hunting trips with your club. Net cost, zero.

Then install a good battery powered Carbon Monoxide Detector and a Smoke Detector. ...And make sure they are working every time you go up to the camp.

You saved a bundle on getting a good shelter. Now, spend a few dollars on ensuring that you and your buddies can enjoy it for a long, long time.
