Installing a replacement bifold range cover..

Ok, my sister and I have purchased a 2007 Freedom Spirit..and we are cleaning and sprucing her up. We purchased a bifold range cover that came with NO instructions. It has hooks on the back but it seems that we are missing something in that it looks as if the hooks need to go on something that are NOT on that range! If I try and hook the cover on what I thought would be the correct place, the cover will not pivot downward to close.

It seems like there should be a rod with bolts on either end that goes through the place on the back of the stove.

Any ideas out there? I know this is hard to visualize. Does anyone know how to install one of these..It would appear to be a no brainer

Thanks in advance!
