Installing tornado tank cleaner question.

I am planning to install the tornado cleaner on my camper this weekend and I was wondering. Would it be a good idea to tee into the water line in the camper with a valve and a back-flow preventer. That way I can have a outside hose connection and a reliable water source from within. Please give me your thoughts or any experience.

I don't think its a good idea. When I flush my tank I don't even use the same hose.I don't want to take any chances of waste water in my fresh water hose.Just my opinion.Marc

I have a short hose that I connect between a Tank Flush valve and the Tank flush. I put some quick connector on one end of the hose and the valve so that I can pop it on when needed. I agree that it should not be left connected. I don't trust any backflow preventer to be 100%.

I installed mine last week. It came with hose and back flow preventer.
I ran my hose over to the left and mounted near the drain. My original one was mounted on the right side of trailer for some idea. I like the tornado it seemed like a good product.

Thanks for the input. I have installed the tornado on the tank. I had a outside shower on the rear and I upgraded that to a quick connect with a 15' cool hose with back flow preventer that I could potentially use to supply the tornado. Also use it for other things as well. Thanks again for all the input.

Glad you got it installed! Sounds like a good idea on the shower.
