Insurance

I would highly suggest you out there who DO NOT have comp collision insurance on the trailer GET it.....

keep in mind that just one little mistake can cost you over 5 grand to get fixed!!!!

when you realize you only have to pay 500 or 750 depending on the deductible You will be so relieved and of course the repair place will fix things that are borderline under the claim that you will be happy they did....

True, a friend just had his 2012 rig totaled due to (what I consider minor) roof damage and a small puncture in the wall. Rv repair costs are crazy high!

Most but some don't I believe from what I've heard I've checked my policy Im covered for water damage glass fire and theft I've heard off people's insurance not covering a TT from water or a tree because it wasn't hooked up to the vehicle at the time but I don't get that because my policy delays vehicle one which is a 05 Chevy and vehicle two which is the TT

My question is does insurance cover walls and floor from a leaking slide or window on a motor home?

each policy is different according to provider. You would have to discuss with your insurance agent and then see if you can get an extended warranty to cover other items. all in all you are looking Arbil bux to either cover everything or save enough to be ready for everything.

Best to also go with total replacement over an ACV policy in the event of a total loss. Since ACV will be considerably less. You will pay more, but that peace of mind is priceless.

Safeco is telling us that Tony's rv in Columbia, SC can fix our motorhome. We think it us totalled and would rather just get another one and get back on the road. A dump truck hit us August 25, 2015 and so far we have only had talk from the insurance company. Our company is Safeco and the truck owner has Liberty Mutual. I will keep you posted on how the companies deal with us. Wish I could post a picture but I have not figured that out yet.

Wrecked rv

Also, we have full replacement cost from Safeco. This unit was 6 months old when the accident occurred.

Why are you without a trailer. Why hasn't Liberty Mutual rented one for you while they sit and do nothing.
If it was a car they would be paying rental wouldn't they?
