interior wall warped/ bowed

I am new the this forum but I bought my 2006 Gulfstream Cavalier (FEMA park model) a few years back for deer camp. It works great and I really dont have many issues with it. Recently i found that one interior wall panel on the side wall of the bedroom has bowed/ warped and is separating from the panel next to it. I can see behind the panel and everything looks okay. I see no signs that it is from water damage. There are no water marks, lines or anything on any ceiling wall or floor so i do not know what caused it. I took a picture and went to the local RV place where i work and they dont think it was water damage either.

My only guess is that it wasnt secured properly and has gradually warped since it is on the side of the camper that gets direct sunlight and heat over the years. I hope I am not wrong. Im going to get another sheet of the luan panel to replace it but dont quite know what i am getting myself into. Im not a construction expert but i have repaired walls and done smaller projects on my home.

Any suggestions or advice?

Water leak somewhere!!!!! I had the same issue in our bathroom i thought it was from moisture from taking hot showers and not turning on vent fan. Come to find out it was a roof leak around the refrigerator vent. Got that fixed and no more problems. A trip to the top of camper is in order!!! Good luck

i checked the top of the camper and couldnt find any reason it would leak in that area and it doesnt slope that direction the way it is sitting now, so i just tacked it back down :-). But the bad part is while cleaning it out today i discovered the back wall at the bunk beds is soft that is definitely a water leak so i am screwed. I remembered the roof being weak in that area when i bought and i never thought to check that wall...oops. guess I'll be taking it to the local camper dealer and have them fix the roof and inspect the wall on the inside...if its not bad and no super expensive i will let them fix the wall when they fix my roof. the soft section of the wall isnt that large so im keeping my fingers crossed.

dodged the bullet, one of my local rv dealers said it will be fine to use it as it is. since it's basically a camper for my deer camp its not worth spending the money to repair especially when he said the water damage is not bad at all. so i will be towing it down to deer camp in two weeks. double checking all the caulk for the roof, throwing a tarp on and i will be ready to rock and roll now its time to save for another camper to use for camping with the wifey. Time to read a lot more on here to see who likes what and take a look at some

That's good news.

Just remember that water follows the path of least resistance.... and can travel a long way away from where the leak is located.

Check your windows for proper caulking.
Also check around all the vents/ skylights/ and check the a/ c gasket.

Water leak. Check the roof and windows near the wall. Also check the floor. Something has let the roof or floor shift and put the wall on a bind.
