Most Jayco's are made in Indiana. That might explain the higher cost on the west coast. Jayco was bought by Thor / Keystone recently. Any aluminum sided trailer is made for a lower price point. If MSRP is $30k then $27k is not much of a deal. The last RV trailer I bought the msrp was $28k and paid $16.5 out the door with tax included.

You should be able to do a lot better than that if you shop around. I looked at JayFlight but wasn't impressed. Good luck and Happy Holidays to you!

fastereddie, my wife and I looked at Jayco's 28RLS and in the end we purchased a Keystone 2660RLWS. Same layout but we felt the fit and finish was better. My view on price is this, if you are getting some reduction in price below MSRP and you can afford it and it's not the first deal you have considered go for it. Because the lost of use during the time and effort it takes you to find the lowest price is your loss, and when you do find the incredibly cheap price I guarantee you are missing out in something, either options, service, or quality (product that has sat on the lot unmaitained for months). We looked at the 2016 models and were about to pull the trigger on one until we found a dealer selling the 2017 for less money. Being from Canada our dealers were stuck with 2016's which cost them more money because our dollar was so low at the time they bought their 2016 inventory, and when other smaller dealers purchased their 2017 inventory the Canadian dollar had recovered significantly they sold them for less than the big dealers sold the last of their 2016 stock. Remember that old stock has sat on the dealers lot in the heat and cold and have not been inspected regularly, manufacturers suggest that roof material should be inspected monthly for seam deterioration. A small leak can create major trouble!

I bought a Jayco Jay Feather this year. MSRP around 28k, paid 21, included controller and hitch. Was happy with the deal, and the quality of the trailer.
Only had one warranty issue, and the ,2 year warranty is a big plus with Jayco.

FYI, I factory ordered a Jayco Jay Feather from my dealer and picked it up in April. Took 4 months.
Delivered to the west coast and with the options I wanted, sticker was $30,300.
I negotiated the price before ordering to $20,400. About 33% off.
I guess it's what you feel comfortable with as how much of a discount you want.
This was from the largest Jayco dealer in the US.

Theoretical MSRP was about $29,000 - out the door was just over $20,000 including Colorado sales tax.

About 30% off of MSRP seems to be pretty common for a new travel trailer. Be careful because they will try to add fees back on. PDI fees, Dealer Doc fees etc.

I bought the Jay Feather 23RLSW travel trailer. Options I ordered were, aluminum rims, enclosed underbelly, 15K A/C unit, electric jack, ladder, Sway Command, sink cover.
The west coast delivery was $3,500 that was also in the $30,000 shown. Sales tax & license fees were extra.
With Jayco sales so backlogged I'm not sure how much you can expect on the discount.
The dealer is Richardson's RV in Riverside or Menifee Ca. They have a online sales dept. I think it's called RV Express.

Most Jayco owners report 30% off is easy to work out. You may wish to research a bit on the dedicated Jayco forum
