Just A Curious Thought !

Having another bought with my back problems rite now, i was just thinking, if i had to, i could make some kind of ramp to aid in entering and exit. Does any manufacturer have an ADA Compliant camper, just curious ???

ADA compliant ramp would need a ramp that is 1 foot long for each inch in elevation. That is pretty big for the average camper.

Newmar does have a handicap accessible model in the Dutch Star. I think it's the 4311.

I saw a modified Class A at PPL in Houston several years ago. It had a totally flat floor and a roll-in shower. No hump around the front engine. It also had a chair lift with door next to the typical entry door.

No disrespect to the handicapped, but I liked the RV. I imagined myself taking a morning shower in the huge shower, making coffee, plopping my butt in a favorite chair. Then I could press a button and be transported outside to my personal sitting deck!

The RV had a painting of two armadillos on the back. One was in a chair and the other was water skiing. Both had big smiles.

My in-laws looked at a Hurricane with handicap access and a chairlift.
