I just used some dirty dishwater to flush my toilet. My sewage tanks combined are much larger in capacity than my freshwater tank, so I'm saving fresh water by not flushing with it when I reasonably can. 
There is more than one way to scan a cat.

Flat bed or Sheet feeder? Inquiring minds want to know. If I scan my cat, can I just fax him to the next campground? It would sure make the trip easier. Someone needs to figure out how to hold a fax so it arrives when I do; then faxing the cat ahead would be practical.

I guess that would be a Cat scan??  
Putting dirty dishwater in the black tank would contribute to grease and oils coating the tank walls and sensors. I also always put a section of clear pipe in my dump hose. But the 'clean' water doesn't mean the tank has really emptied. This video opened my eyes.
I'm not recommending any of these flushers, but you can see the tank doesn't empty on any of the dump cycles.

I used soap! Come one, I may be a redneck, but I used Dawn dish soap and real actual hot water!
But never for bathing.  
Seriously, if that was a problem, we should never put that water down to the gray tank, either.

Lol guys, guys. .. everyone take a chill pill. This is getting into a debate and not what I had intended. Lol
I just wanted to know what products you were using and any advice would be welcome.
From what I have gathered, sufficient water is 95% of the solution. The other 5% is the odour elimination, personal preferences etc etc
I'm really excited to find some of you use regular toilet paper. I just bought 10 x 4pk of the camco TP. Expensive... so if you are having good success with your ways using regular TP I'm gonna try that too.

I used Happy Camper for a year, couldn't tell the difference. Went back to using Costco laundry detergent. The black and grey tanks on my Avion 5er have V bottoms when they are empty they are empty no residue left in them.

Only chemical one really needs is H2O
Chemicals just cause poop to smell like chemicals.
If you smell it.. something is broken that needs fixing (or you have exhaust fan on when flushing toilet).

Question..... why are black tank manufactuerers still living in the caveman era? They need to have a tank that is tapered to a pint at the exit. Problem solved!

Space is always a premium in an RV, no matter how big it is. A tapered, or round tank would waste valuable storage and reduce the volume of the tank. Nice idea, but I fear it won't sell.

After emptying the tanks (all my tanks) I add about 5 gallons of water and 1/2 cup blue Dawn dish washer soap to each tank. It seems to cut the grease the best and I believe grease is the biggest culprit in tank problems.
Your opinion may (and probably will) vary.

Keep this rule of thumb in mind: at your last stop before heading home on your trip, fill your black tank about a quarter full - no more. You can add a bit of detergent if you would like but not necessary. No one can use the bathroom til you get back home. The sloshing action for those few hours of driving will clean and pulverize any solids. Drain the tank as soon as possible after your final stop. Flush tank and when storing keep about 1/8 tank water with deodorizer (blue stuff). .... Ta da!
