Our AC cuts on and off in 1-2 min intervals. It's very annoying and we slept kinda hot at night. Any suggestions?

My wife and I purchased a new 279RBLS last year and are generally pleased with it. We found many small defects in the construction of the unit. Exhaust fan wired in reverse, missing exterior trim, interior trim coming loose, wood screws stripped out etc. All were fixed by the dealer or myself. After looking at my friends RV (different brand) it is similar in quality.
