Labour Day weekend

DW and I met up with and camped with our son , his wife and daughter. It was his 2nd or 3rd time out, first time at a forestry rec site, and by a lake. It was a beautiful location but the clouds socked in before they got there and he didn't get to see the tops of the mountains. In fact it rained one afternoon, likely the only place in the province. His daughter and him got out in my canoe though. We charged the batteries off my genny, but maybe not enough for his single. His CO detector went off,and the wind picked up about the same time,at 3:00 at night,he had to pull his manual awning in.A short nights sleep. And yet he said he had a great time.

Thats all that matters is that he had a great time. I'd rather spend a week inside a RV next to a lake with it raining then in a S&B house any day of the week.
