Lance 1475 questions

I just made a down payment on a lance 1475.
I've lived full time in a 30 ft keystone for the past two years and realized that my dog and I only use a small portion of it. The rest is just wasted space.
I move around a lot and the keystone is an absolute whale. The lance 1475 appears to have almost everything I'm looking for. Nice big fridge, no dinette, would prefer a wet bath for easy cleaning though..
Concerns:
Is the lance worth the higher price?
What is it like in cold weather?
Will the big comfy lounge chairs be ready for the landfill in two years?
Was also considering an Escape 17b.
Thoughts?
Thanks
Dennis

The 1475 and 1575 do not have the 4 season packages or even ducted heating. These are the ultra lights of the Lance line up so the amenities will be Lance quality but sparse. In short, your blast furnace will be going all night if the temps drop. No, I don't own a Lance but before input a deposit down on my TT I as seriously looking at the Lance and Nash line ups. I think you should consider a 1685 because it is compact, rather light and still comes with the 4 season package. Pricy? Yes, but seems to be what you are looking for in the Lance and light enough most V6's can tow it.

As to whether it is worth the cost? I was willing to pay for one but I absolutely despise the only Lance dealership here in the state of New Mexico because of how they treat the customers there every time I went, their service department had the worst ratings in town, and their prices were terrible compared the the other dealerships in the area. So I sadly had to pass on the Lance series and look at other options.

Very useful information. I spend winter months in santa fe so info about the albuquerque dealer is very helpful.
Thanks

Rocky Mountain RV is the only certified Lance dealership in NM. I would recommend Myers RV or Chisolm Trail RV (in that order) if you needed service because if you drop it off at Rocky Mountain it will be there for months and they will treat you like you are an inconvenience to them. The last time I talked with a sales person she hung up on me after trying to argue with me about math and how much my new TT was actually going to cost me (even though I already had the confirmed numbers on a sales sheet in front of me) and I am an Engineering graduate and this is my 4th RV purchase. Needless to say be prepared to be hassled and hustled if you have to go there.
