Last night of the season for me

well, this is my last night camping with my family and my 28 foot mobile mansion of sorts.

it's a bit chilly but the fire is keeping us warm.

I'll miss this over the cold winter....

just thought I would share some thoughts....

It's always a bit sad when it comes to the end. But, the excitement builds at the thought of all the good days ahead!

I'm kinda glad I'm full-timing. My season doesn't end, it just moves!

All I need is a nice weekend. My season doesn't end, it just rests for a few weeks. Last winter, I winterized my trailer at least 4 times, and my winter only really lasts about 3 months!
Off season, cold weather camping is the best... even if you just sit inside and watch a movie.

I'm with you. My coach hasn't been winterized for 8 years now. Like Forrest Gump says, "one less thing".

We are sitting up here at Yogi in the Smokies campground in North Carolina on our last trip of the season also.. When Thursday comes and we have to pack up and head home it will be bittersweet.. We met some great people up here and have already planned to return this time next year ... It's been a little chilly and the fishing hasn't been great but who cares ..we are camping. Lol

Great post. Here in PHX AZ weather is finally cooling down enough to a point where we hope to be out every weekend, or close. During the long HOT "dry" summer we are fortunate enough to be able to head north a couple hours as often as possible to enjoy the cool northern AZ lakes and much cooler temps. We would go nuts shutting our trips down for months at a time. We both grew up in WI and totally get the winters.
