LED brands

I have about 75% of my trailer in LEDs. I want to finish them but the local trailer has jacked up the prices so they no longer affordable. I have looked online ie amazon. I found many from cheap price to affordable. I know we can get some offshored brands which will not last.

Anyone have a recommendations?

Thanks

Kind of going through the same thing! I have over 60 interior lights, most are the puck lights and not many LED's will fit. I ordered some from China through Amazon, after waiting a month I contacted the seller, he said they might have been confiscated by Customs!! I asked why Customs would confiscate LED's and never got an answer. They did refund my money immediately though. Bought some others for $5.50 each and can make them work and they do give off a decent amount of light and are dimable, just not to the same extent as the halogens.

I bought all of mine for two RV's now from AliExpress. These are from China, and they will take a long time to arrive because of that. But I have found them to be quite similar in quality to most of what is available. Here's an example, and the main bulb that I use in all of my ceiling puck lights. :Aliexpress.com : Buy 5pcs/lot G4 Base Dimmable MR16 led bulb smd bulb led lamp MR16 led lamp light 12VDC 12LED 5050SMD 2.4W from Reliable lamp light suppliers on RB ELECTRONIC LTD | Alibaba Group

If you want top-quality, M4 probably sells the best. I have a few of their products and find them exceptional. For example, their LED docking lights are awesome --complete shell and bulbs all in one. I suspect that their indoor LED bulbs may be better, but the price and the fact that I had to buy over 60 of them had me searching for cheaper.

I bought these from EBay, experimened with brite white, cool white, warm white. Over all weliked the cool white the best. Only fault i have with them in over the year we havehad them is the double stick tape that holds the panel in the fixtures gave out.10x Cool White RV 1141 1156 BA15S T10 921 194 48 SMD Panel Interior LED Lights | eBay

I buy all my HID and LED lights from ddmtuning.com . My buddy just picked up some bulbs yesterday from our local store and my jaw dropped when I heard what he paid.

led's

I purchased the LED's Rideandslide used in warm white and am more than happy with them, my whole trailer is changed over including the fridge. The only modification I did was used a piece of moulding tape for car moulding over the tape on the back of the led because my fixtures are concave and so far they have held on in heat up to 95 F on an 11 day trip to ohio.
very happy with the product and they give you at least 3 different adapters to fit just about everything we'll see how the stick after -40 this winter
these lights are about the same colour as the 1156's they replace but do put out a little more light
I run a 123 watt solar panel to a charge controller to 2 trojan T-105's and gained .2 volts overall for load over the old lights
now as the wife says "your not worried about leaving the trailer lights on"
well not as much anyway!

Tuesday 18th I ordered these cheap 921 replacement LEDs on eBay from a USA seller of Chinese LEDs. 20 for $20.29. It is a cheap experiment. I'll let you know if they are any good. They shipped the same day and are supposed to be here Monday.

I bought some panels of LED's today from Batteries and Bulbs Plus for $15 each today. Why did I pay that much? The warranty is five years, and that means if a single diode stops working right, I can return them for immediate replacement. If I buy LEDs from a chinese company via amazon or ebay, I have to mail them back to china, and wait for the replacements to come back. Sometimes, saving a few bucks might not end up being worth it. As for me, I'll just have to wait and see, won't I?

See my post #8. These LEDs came in today. I used 17 and tested the other 3. All worked fine. My guess is that they are about 90% as bright as the 921s. That is just fine because I always thought the 921s were a little too bright. The color is warm white and a little less yellow than the 921s. I prefer the color of these LEDs. I did turn on the radio and listened to FM and AM stations. No radio interference. I am very satisfied with these inexpensive LEDs so far and I have no connection with the company that sold them.

I saw your post #8, and I wanted board type arrays, not cylinder. Plus, that seller makes you pay return shipping, so between them and Batteries Plus Bulbs the shipping/driving costs are probably a wash, especially if the price of diesel keeps going down.

Since mine were all good return shipping was not needed. These are tiny little things so I don't think return shipping would cost much to Tukwila WA 98188. They probably have what you want at a very reasonable price.

I tried ordering some from Ali some time ago. The order wouldn't go through because of the laws here in WA state. Something about them not being able to accept payments from WA residents.

Amazon. Gold Stars brand. $29.99/6 bulbs. 250 lumens each. 921 base. 2.3 watts each. Model 92111805.

Replaced all of the bulbs in the TT (except the fridge) and the one outside the door. Mine took 18 and haven't lost one yet! Brighter than the OEM bulbs and I like it bright!
