LED lights too white
We recently bought a new TT. The LED lights at first seemed like a sensible power saving option. And as a matter of fact they are. Because of how obnoxious the light they produce is we use them sparingly. Does anyone know about changing out the bulbs. Can I buy better bulbs? Are they interchangeable or proprietary?

Get the warm white ones. DW hates the cool or daylight ones so I have to be careful. Did all the main overheads from warm white fluorescent lights to warm white LED's and she never noticed!

X2. There are 3 hues of LED's:
Cool=most like the blue/greenish fluorescent bulbs
Warm=most like the yellow-toned incandescent light
Daylight=most like bright sunlight
There are also different grades of LED's. I found the more expensive ones seems to operate as they should with our coach's voltage & they also last longer. The cheap ones have given us issues with the flickering & sections or entire rows of the LED's not lighting.
It can be a trial & error endeavor. Be sure you can return with no problems, what doesn't work for you.

I have tried all three Pure White, Cool White and Warm White, my opinion of the three, Pure White- too brite, Cool White- think my favorite, Warm White-like them also for area's where you want a softer light, like over the dinning table.

I used warm white - I think they are about 3500 kelvin, about the same as an incandescent light bulb.

I bought 1 of each color from M4 and had the wife check the colors.
The 3500K was too yellow for her.
4500K was close to what she wanted. Cool medium White.
5500K was way too blue/white.
So I replaced all my 921 bulbs with the 4500's. A little at a time, as they can be expensive for the good ones.
Now the converter fan doesn't come on with all the lights on.
Hope this helps.

Oops! This was on the previous Dutch Star. The Magna has the puck lights and I haven't started on it yet. Ordered 40 of the warm white bulbs to start. The halogens are very hot and she already burned a cardboard box with them. Some are just over the counter or desktop and she stacked stuff too close when we were moving in. I think the hole burned through the box got her attention!
