Most on-line sellers don't list the number of lumens their LED "bulbs" put out. How many SMDs should I look for on a T10 LED replacement if I want similar light as my original incandescent bulb?

That was my observation also. In addition, many sellers take great liberty with colors, even inventing new categories or failing to list temperature in Kelvins. I'll not reward them with my business.

Go to page two and look at the eBay seller I use he has listed all the info you will need.

After buying mine I would not go with any less than 25 LEDs per bulb.

I will take some pics tonight. How well they will turn out will be interesting.

That's what I was afraid you were going to say :-/ I just ordered a 10pack of 10SMDs. Ih well, maybe they will work okay in a few choice locations, until I order some more 25's.

Thanks for the info!

Ok here is a pic of my led bulb vs the stock bulb. These are on page two of this post if you would like to purchase from this seller. They are a 25 led warm white led bulb. We are happy with the look of the bulbs in out tralier and not having the heat from the stock bulbs is very nice.

On the left is the led bulb and on the right is the regular bulb.

Just got my LEDs with 9 emitters in them (SMD9) I would judge that are 1/2 as bright as the original incandescents. Back to e-bay... I'm going to get SMD25s (at least) and swith from bright white to warm white.

Here is a picture of an led wedge base bulb that I found at the local Menards. It produced 1 watt or 90 lumens. After reading here I thought that 90 lumens wouldn't be much at all but it appears to give off a lot of light. Satisfactory for us. Here are two pictures:

Sadly, I discovered the diode count doesn't relate very much to the light output. The SMD42s I just received appear to be about the same brightness as the SMD10s I tried last week. That's what get for trying to go cheap.
