MyRR,

then I should probably just build the battery box, install all, load trailer for camping and test drive it. Then if need be order a WDH

That is part of the question, do you measure a trailers length by the length of the box, or by total length including tounge?
In the US trailers are measured by "total" length hitch to bumper. So you have a 19' tt.

With a single axle and mounting the batteries up front, a WD system will level out your tt & tow vehicle and help a lot with sway.

Superslif,

thanks for that info, that will make it easier for me when explaining myself to other members here on the forum.

So I guess another question that I will have to ask, is how will an add a leaf change the equation?

My truck is going in for a 4" lift for the front, and rear, one of the issues that comes with the lift system is that it uses an additional leaf in the rear (which is the safest and the preferred method for a bolt on kit). prior to ordering anythiing, I want to see how it will sit with the trailer after the lift, as I was preparing to order a 6" drop hitch. Currently the truck uses a 2” drop hitch.

the confusion never ends

You can usually get enough of a drop hitch to not matter, especially with the WDH.
