Looking at new TT

She who must be obeyed and I are looking at new travel trailers. We have our requirements list and have been looking. So far we have looked at several models but we keep coming back to the sonic 220vrb. I don't see many or any reviews of this trailer online. Is this company just that new or are these trailers just not worth the cost. Anybody here have any of the venture rv trailers?

Venture is a Thor subsidiary. Thor has 11 major subgroups of RVs, and each of those has a variety different labels. Its no wonder they don't all get reviewed.

It will be made with the same basic components that all RVs are, using a frame made by the same people that make frames for other brands, etc. There's little difference until you get into the truly high end brands. Floor plan, price, and dealer service are more important than brand for lower end trailers.

Dealers like the confusion because it makes cross-shopping very difficult. Its the same thing that mattress companies do.

That's what I've been noticing. I'll see several makes with almost the same floor plan and model numb r only to find out they are all owned by the same parent organization.

One thing that might be a good idea is the one piece fiberglass roof. I don't know if there are any issues in actual use, but we all know that any other kind of roofing can have problems.

We have been looking at the Venture Sport trek and have been lucky enough to walk thru several models at a few RV shows. After those shows we had many more questions that we thought of later on one Friday night. I fired off an email from their website and was pleasantly surprised at the response. I asked for more information on the package deals and MSRP information ... I had an email back by midnight and the information I had asked for and then more by Monday at 10 AM as promised. Since then we have had several more conversations and feel they have awesome customer support. We may go with the 327 VIK. The Venture is made on the KZ assembly line in Indiana, in addition any KZ dealer will work on any model of Venture. Just nice information to know as they are not sold at every dealership.
