Looking at the Salem tt line

Hello all our RV friends,

My wife Jo and I joined your community yesterday, so that makes us one of your newest friends. I got to buy the truck of my dreams, a Nissan Titan, and now Jo gets to buy the travel trailer of her dreams. She loves the Salem line - and so do I. But we know nothing about it. We'd love to hear from owners about quality especially, and ofcourse reliability. It seems very well designed and constructed, but as I've read here in your numerous posts, looks can be deceiving. So Salem owners, what do you think?

We're here in Appleton and I work in Green Bay. You may have heard of Green Bay...

We are new to the RV world, but this year we purchased a slightly used Salem Hemisphere and I can tell you we LOVE it! Of course, there are always problems and the travel trailers are not as heavy duty as other alternatives, but there has to be a balance between weight and quality. We searched for months and looked at many options, but are happy to say that the wait was worth it! Ours has an outdoor kitchen and a slide in the living/dining room as well as the rear bunkroom. The bathroom has an exit door and that has made all the difference in the world. Happy hunting!

thanks Kelly. We are trying to decide on either a 5th wheel or a travel trailer. At this point, we haven't decide which way to go. Like you, I think we'll just keep on looking and hope that the right rig comes our way. We feel that "we'll know it when we see it."

Thanks again, and happy camping!!!
