Find a 10 to 20 year old Beaver, Country Coach, Blue Bird WunderLodge, Newell, Prevost conversion, or a Foretravel..nearly the same price point ..and by far better built

Hi Brandi & Kevin,

We are also new here. We have been looking for a few months now to upgrade to a TT from our pop up. We sold the pop up last year (1.5 yr) and really miss camping. We have looked at several dealers and several makes/models and a ton of research. ALL SO VERY CONFUSING AND MOSTLY PEOPLES OPINIONS.
We have gone back through all of them at least three times and just today made the decision to purchase a Grand Design Imagine. 2800BH
After going back and forth it was so obviously better built and sturdy than most the others. For us the strongest contender was the Jayco Jay Flight.

Best of luck to you! Happy Camping!

Happy owner of 2017 Heartland North Trail 26RLSS Calibur Edition. No issues, tows great with Ford F 150 3.5 Eco-Boost. Travels thru Civil War States to California on one trip and Calif, Oregon, Montana, SD, ND, Wyoming, Idaho and back to California along with many short trips around west coast.

Earlier this year I traded in a Passport ultralight for an Open Range 2410RL. The difference in quality is like night and day. I have had the Open Range out 5 times so far with no issues at all. Tows well.

We looked for a couple of years deciding, rethinking and finally decided to just look at well built models. It was said earlier in the thread here to look at Northwoods, Arctic Fox, Silver Fox, Nash and Outdoor RV. All made in the same vein. All well thought out, a little heavier but worth it.
We found a 6 mo. old Arctic Fox 25Y that the, apparently well off first owner, added a lot of goodies to it and then decided he wanted a Class A.
we got it greatly reduced and still under warranty. I've had a few discussions with Northwoods Manuf. as I learn the ins and outs that only time spent with the trailer can give you. The manuf. has been outstandingly helpful. We love the trailer.
Good luck!
