Love bugs!!!

Just made a great trip from Ohio to Siesta Key. Unfortunately, I think my claimed the lives of 10,000 love bugs. Ive tried scrubbing them off but not having much success. Any tricks out there or chemicals that work?

There is a product the you can buy on line and at most Harley dealers. "BugSlide" Works well.

Stop by a Harley Davidson dealer and get a spray bottle of their "BUG Remover". Spray the front of the coach down with water, spray this stuff on and WAIT as the directions say at least 1 (one) minute and then wash them off. This stuff works great. I had to clean ours when we stopped for the night in GA and a couple of guys came over and asked what I was using. It made a believer out of me. Good Luck.

I lived in Louisiana for many years and have a lot of experience with those pests. The best thing I have found is dryer fabric softener sheets. Wet the front of your vehicle and use the sheet to wipe the bugs away ... works great. I always keep a supply of them in the coach.

No soap required, just a wet dryer sheet will wipe the bugs away ... works like a charm!

Make sure you get them off as soon as possible. I have seen the acid in a smashed love bug eat thru clear coat and then paint.

Nothing worse than a smashed love bug on a car, then have the hot May Florida sun bake it into the clear coat.
