Lower profile 5th wheel.
Wanting to find a new 5th wheel, but the doors to our shop building where we would store it are only 12 feet. Need to stay under 12 feet. Are there any
5th wheels made less than 12 feet tall? We currently have a Mini winne, it is 11 feet 3 I think, but fits. Don't want to have to build another shed, or mess with haveing the doors raised. Anyone know of anthing out there? We may have to go to a bumper pull.

Sorry, I can't provide an answer for you in your search , but I'm sure you'll be getting the info your looking for soon.
The problem is that a lot of lower profile 5ers, gave up headroom in the bedroom, to the point where sitting upright, on the bed was an issue.
Good Luck in your search.

Good question as could be some day we'll sell the class A for a pickup & 5th wheel, but we also are limited to 12' doors.

Work and Play 5th wheel list outside height as 11'6", don't know if that includes air or anything else on roof though.

We originally had a living quarters horse trailer and a one ton truck. Husband just got tired of climbing up into the nose of the horse trailer to sleep. So after 13 years of that, we sold truck and trailer, also sold our bumper pull for this class C Access Premier and bought a Jeep to tow.
He is having difficultly adjusting to all this. While attending horse activities, I will follow him with a truck and horse trailer to those functions. since we are limited to specific weights the MH can tow behind it. It does tow our covered wagon on a trailer nice enough. Our Minnie Winnie fits nicely in out 12 foot doors. There are a couple of class A we saw that will go into the 12 ft. doors, they just were not what I was wanting at the time. Our RV dealer, Shady Pines in Texarkana, TX has two of those, new, one I know will sell for about 69, the other is a bit more. Good luck.

Our goose neck LQ had a lot of head room, we had a conventional inner spring mattress in ours and still had ample room to sit up in bed.

I just do not want to give up space for a toy hauler inorder to be able to store the unit in our building. May have to inquire about a special order to build on that frame and without the toy hauler ammenities.
