Messed up my electric plug

I screwed up. Pulled out of the park with plug plugged in.
I'm going from El Centro to Orange County, by way of Indio, CA any suggestions where to get it repaired?

Where to stop on the way? Not what I'd expected. I have reservations in Anaheim Friday. Can start my stay there tonight or tomorrow if I want. I'm truly a rookie. Dummy move on my part. Planned on being on the road by 10am. Right.

Thank goodness I just got a new battery. Also, got tires checked out and doing good. Won't have a/c but will still have power!

Dang!

There must be an RV dealer in Indio. Should be lots of dealers or electricians in Orange County.

There is a dealer in Indio. Can't remember name but is a pretty large outfit.

Camping world CALIFORNIA Bakersfield Fresno La Mirada Redding Rocklin Roseville * San Bernardino San Marcos San Martin Vacaville Valencia
lot's of places can sell you a new end to repair it !

Is the RV messed up?
Is their a twist-lock connection at the RV end?
Is just the male plug messed up?
Is the cord still in good condition?

If it is just the male plug it is a simple do-it-yourself job.

Well, at least you didn't rip part of your shed door off when moving mine in the backyard !

As stated, if just the male plug, 30A, no big deal. I had to replace mine at a campground wheni felt it overheating, the local Lowes had one.

Don't know ANY of these from personal experience but there is a dealer just north of I-10 at Washington (just west of Indio) called Holland RV, easy to spot. (800) 610-3934. There are a couple big dealers off of the 215 between the 10 and 60 on the west side - exit for that is called Washington too. Last, I checked Yelp and there is a well recommended mobile RV guy by the name of Kirby Mobile (714) 288-8975 in the Anaheim area. Good Luck!

Thanks all of you for responding. Got directed to Desert RV in Brawley by local police officer. Caught them just before closing. They'll get to me first thing in am. Seemed nice. Will report back. In the meantime I'm roughing it at Best Western right next door. No electric, no A/C. with 116 day, 97 night temps. I'll take a room!

There is also a Camping World in La Mirada which is not far at all from Anaheim. 14900 Firestone Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638. A bit confusing to get to off the 5 Fwy but right there Artesia exit Phone: (800) 854-8422

Which end is messed up?

If iet's messed up where it enters the RV you may need an RV dealer or marine supply.

If it is the park end of the cord that is messed up any Large hardware/Home Improvement store such as Home Depot SHOULD have the proper plug and installation is easy.

Myself I prefer a "power pull" type (With built in handle) and you find those at RV dealers.. Some others however do not like those plugs cause you can not full close the park pedestal door on them.. But I like 'em.

Got lucky and found Desert RV in Brawley. I got there just before they closed so they directed me to Best Western right next door and said they could get to it first thing in the am. I was back on the road before 9.

The price... Desert RV gave me an early Christmas present. Yep. That's what the guy said. "Don't worry about it. Accept the job as an early Christmas present." That was a nice surprise.

Until now I haven't taken on a lot of DIY stuff. I expect as I go along, I'll learn how to do some things myself. This time around I needed to get out of the heat and needed to insure I'd have A/C if for some reason I got stuck.

I will be coming here to get educated. Love the help and support I'm finding in this community. Thanks you guys.
