Minnie 2451BHS bunk size?

First of all, long-time lurker, first-time poster. The wife and I just negotiated a purchase on a 2016 Minnie 2451BHS (yay for us!). It's a couple of weeks out, and the dealer is a ways away and I didn't think to measure the bunks for bedding. Can somebody with a 2451 identify the bunk size so we can figure out our options? We'd like to be ready for our shakedown weekend, which may very well begin at the dealer.
Thanks!
-Todd

<on edit> Whoops, probably should have posted this in the Winnebago owners forums. My green is showing, I do believe.

Can't help with bunk size, but posting here is a good idea. The Winnebago owners' forum is mainly used by folks with motorhomes. Those of us with towables would be better off posting on the travel trailer or fifth wheel forum as appropriate.

We use twin size sheets on our bunks, but they are too big for the sleeping pads. A sleeping bag is also a good option, but our kids are hot sleepers! 😉 My 6'2" 15 year old still fits in a bunk but not very well. They are much better suited for my younger kids. I would go measure the exact dimensions for you, but it is in storage at the moment. Sorry. But I hope this helps a little. I wish you many happy travels! I think you'll be impressed with the quality of TT you've just purchased. Did you pick a fun color? Ours is the lime green!

Call it a very narrow twin.
The fitted sheet will fit even with a custom cut egg crate foam topper, which you will want to provide for happy camping.

My 2301BH (discontinued) has the same bunks as yours, just on the other side.

Thanks all for the info. I think we'll try the egg crate foam toppers, as those pads felt a little thin to us as well. Our 4.5 year old son is pretty excited to have his own area.
We considered the Orange exterior, but ended up going with the Platinum. It's a close match to our truck, and being that we have room on the side of our house to store it during the year we thought we'd draw less attention from our next-door neighbors

If your boy wants to turn it into a "fort", my wife found little spring-loaded curtain rods and curtains, which my 12 year old daughter really appreciates for privacy or when she's having a pre-teen drama moment. LOL

My solution to covering RV mattresses: I don't have a bunk but both my bedroom mattress and our sofa-bed are also oddly sized for store bought sheet sets and I was not impressed with the RV sheets sets at CW. I took two flat sheets and had my MIL sew them together to form a custom pillow case of sorts. You just simply pull it up from the bottom or top of the mattress and tuck under the left over. You get to sleep on a proper sheet and it stays put. The worst thing ever is waking up with your face on the mattress pad or even worse the mattress. When my grandson is with us on the sofa-bed I just simply give him a lite blanket or sheet to cover with in the spring and summer and the fall we put him in a sleeping bag.

It's a little more work to change the sheets...but I personally think it's worth it. You could also add and egg crate for extra padding if you wish.

Happy camping...

TDI-Minnie: a bunk-fort is definitely in his near future.

Vanbuskirk: I like the idea of a sleeping pad "pillow case."
