Mods to my Jayco 32 DSBH-Trailer Tray, Water Filter, Medicine Cabinet

#1. Installed my Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray on the front. Yes, my generator is loud. Its used at places where its not an issue, like Walmart campgrounds. Or Daytona during races.

#2. Install a new water filter and tap. We use this to fill two water bottles we keep in the fridge, and for the dogs water bowls. It takes any bad taste out of water.

#3. Bigger medicine cabinet. The Eagle version comes with a nice big cabinet, but it was way too heavy and the front fiberglass wouldn't fit my trailer tray.. So we put in a bigger one sourced from HD. I changed the knobs to black to match the interior, and added catches on the doors.

Next upgrades.

2x6v batteries + inverter to run the back fridge while on the road.
A bunch of hooks in the bathroom for towels. At least 5, perhaps 10.
TV mount in the bunkroom for the kids.
Passthrough upgrades to organize.

What type of "catches" did you use, and did you have any problems mounting the new medicine cabinet?

The same kind that the RV already had on every door. They look something like this:

And no, screwing it in was easy. Short machine screws about the same length as the screws that held the old one up worked fine.

Thanks. I have a rear bathroom and the door is always coming open while towing. I'm looking for a better medicine cabinet that has better latches than what I have now.

I just bought a cheap Home Depot med cabinet and glued a thicker pice of wood on the back of the mirrored door so I could use those same latches with screws
