Moving RV after being in one place for 3 years

We are moving our trailer from a site it has been in for 3 years. We have blown up the tires. Is there anything else we should do before moving it?

I'd check the age of the tires, very likely they are older than is safe to use on the highway. (7 years old)

I'd also treat the axle bearings to fresh grease and check that the brakes aren't frozen with rust. While the hubs are off for grease, a hand sanding to remove surface rust on the drums would be a good action.

I would check and grease the wheel bearings, crawl back underneath and make sure nothing has worked loose, and check your security latches so they don't come open during transport. Three years is not a too long time to have sat still but be sure to check and double check. Also if it has electric brakes and the brake away and would check those also.

Get some new tires since you blew yours up. Check for wheel damage.

I wouldn't trust tires that have been sitting in one spot for 3 years. At the very least, they are going to have flat spots, and more than likely, they are going to have dry rot. I would just replace them. Otherwise, the only thing you should really have to do is to grease moving parts - the wheel bearings, slide-out (if you have one), and the hitch. Oh, and check all of the lights.

hitch bolts and brackets, you should re torque all bolts that connect the TV to the TT. including the wheel lugs and grease up the hitch ball too.
