Need advice on getting our Awning down

We have a 30ft Trailcruiser Lite and have never had any problems with the awning before but last weekend went camping and could not get it to come down. We both tried to make sure we weren't forgetting to do something but it seems to be up there and tight! Any idea's??

After you put the lever into the down position(which I know you did) climb up and pull on the arms while your wife pulls from the middle. We had a camper that somehow the arms would get in a bind and you could not pull it down as you normally could. Just a thought-good luck

Thanks tbwhit will try that if it ever stops raining here in Iowa! We're wondering if the awning might have gone up really fast last time because of rain and hopefully didnt do something at that time. But will definitely try what you said.

Should be noted in the original paperwork if you bought it new. If not then it should be on the arms or roller tube of the awning.

Did you loosen the bolts on the extension arms and slide them down first?

I had the lock/unlock mechanism break and could not get the awning down. When trying to unlock it the lever would move but you could tell it wasn't right from the feel - no detent or click.
