so my husband and I need help. We saw two used TT sold by owners. Both have the same inside layout. let me know which you would buy.

1. 2004 Keystone Springdale 298BH aksing $14,000
Pros: Very clean both inside and outside. Newer outside bod style. Well maintained. New tires. Upgraded sway and hitch. Spare tire holder. Nice Jacks.
CONS: There is a soft spot by the fridge in the flooring.

2. 2003 Keystone Sprinter 303BH- $11,00
Pros: Upgraded inside decor. Clean inside. PRICE. (may be able to talk down a little more)
CONS: Slide was not working (could hear motor go for a few seconds and then quit? no idea on repair costs). Broken window. Back bedroom door track is brocken. Siding has two cracks. Hitch and sway are just ok. Owner says will repair window and door and I don't know yet about the slide and siding.

WHICH ONE WOULD YOU BUY and FOR WHAT PRICE.

Based on the info you've provided, I'd be inclined to buy #1. However, an even more important inspection to perform before you decide, is to get on a ladder and inspect the roof. Check all the "penetrations" (vents, skylight, etc.) to make sure the sealant is in good condition. Although it is only 3-4 years old, this is very important.

If the soft spot by the fridge is damaged flooring, it can be repaired more easily than damage to the roof or side walls caused by leaks.

As for price (all are negotiable) check the NADA prices so you know where to start... Just my 2 cents worth.
