Need help deciding on TT

So we are looking for a used TT that has bunk beds, separate bedroom, and Grey and black water tanks for under $6,500 that we can fulltime in, we plan on boondocking a lot so it has to have the tanks, if their are specific models that meet my needs please let me know, I appreciate any help I can get, thanks.

Good luck to you & welcome to the forum.

We do more dry camping than boondocking, but we do it with a 21 gallon fresh water tank & and a case of spring water for 3-4 days at a time. The grey/black tanks are 28 gallon. We have gotten pretty good at it. Helps to be married to an ex-Navy man.

I can't help you, but welcome. We were looking for a TT from a popup and bought a 5er instead. Have you looked on the classifieds on this forum?

To help with the tank size issue, get a blue tote to so that you can haul the gray water to the local dump with out moving the trailer.

For $6500, do not plan on a very new trailer. You might want tolook for older silver Avions and do a little fixing up on it.

Hey 4Champions,

You should be able to find a TT around the 2000 year vintage of what you're looking for as far as price. You'll have to check craiglist, local papers, rvtrader.com, etc. There are many brands that will meet your needs. Fleetwood Prowler, Jayco's, Aljo's, etc. Probably around 30'+ for your bunks and bedroom.

Regards, Hamshog

I agree with Hamshog, you need to check craigslist.org and aroudn this time of the year there is more on the market. Just realize that RV's seem to be gold and sell for quite a bit. My dad sold a 87 32 foot TT for 5500. It was very good condition thought and a true 4 season RV. You just need to keep searching. While searching get the list going of what the needs and wants are and also what you can add later to the TT.

Good luck!!
