My DH & I are going on a 2+ week trip from Washington state to Yellowstone, Cody,WY & Colorado, leaving in a week. We have only been able to take 2 quick weekend trips in our new Komfort Trailer. I want to get ready and be prepared for a little longer trip, without loading 4 tons of stuff I don't need.

I would really appreciate some tips & advice, say maybe......YOUR top 5 tips.

Where to or not to stay, storage tips, what Not to leave home without ???

Thanks to all who answer
Lori

Pleae provide a little more info? Kids? pets? pulling vehicle? Ok, here are a few ideas that we have used over the past 20+ years.
1)Don't worry, they will sell you whatever you forgot.
2)If you take any prescription medication, be sure to take enough with you!
3)take laundry materials, with this length of trip you will need to do some someplace.
4)Particularly in Wyoming, be sure to fill up if your tank hits 1/2. The next town may be a LONG distance away.
5) Take enough coffee, and enjoy! the trip.
Bob
6) (ok, you asked for 5, i'm giving you a freebie! LOL) take bottled waer. Some water in Wyoming is not very tasty. Safe, but not tasty.
Bob
P.S. Do NOT get close to the bison, they are very dangerous no matter how calm they may appear.

For several years we have used checkoff lists in the rig and truck for arrival and departure. But after leaving things at home we need several times we now have a home departure list.
I'll share it with you if you want it send me your e-mail address at cwsoules@mindspring.com.
